Dr. Marie Caro
Dr. Caro, MD, brings over 20 years of clinical practice experience to Primary Care Psychiatry, combining deep medical expertise with a compassionate, collaborative approach to care. A graduate of Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, she completed her specialty training in Internal Medicine at Indiana University in Indianapolis.

For the past six years, Dr. Caro has focused exclusively on treating mild to moderate mental health conditions, integrating her strong foundation in primary care with specialized mental health expertise. She is currently a fellow in Primary Care Psychiatry at the University of California, Irvine, further expanding her knowledge to better serve her patients.
Dr. Caro believes that effective treatment starts with listening. She values shared decision-making, drawing on each patient’s creativity, knowledge, and perspective to create personalized care plans.
Outside of her medical practice, Dr. Caro enjoys mixed media art, a passion you can see on this page. Her creativity in art reflects the same thoughtful, individualized approach she brings to patient care.
